A New Self Discovery

Today's new thing was a discovery that I enjoy gambling much more than I thought. Have gone to Vegas and enjoy spending my $40 limit at the craps tables - which at some points can last me awhile (when I'm lucky enough to find the $5 tables), but that's about the extent of the gambling. However, today on the way home from work I took a little stop off at the 7 Eleven and turned in my big winnings from the stocking stuffer scratch tickets (the total of $4 from 2 tickets - one of which was from Christmas 2008...). Instead of just cashing them in like I generally would, I turned them in for 2 more scratches. This was a first for me (at least that I can remember). Sadly, I did not win any money, but I have to tell you that the rush I got in my stomach as I planned out how I'd spend those big bucks I'd win from the $2 tickets was pretty exciting :) I lost the price equivalent of a beer - I think planning my next trip as I envisioned winning was worth it - at least this once...
